Select the <Aa> in the toolbar.
Text elements add text on top of other elements or directly on the whiteboard.
Most elements on your whiteboard will have some text – sticky notes, shapes, connectors, and the text element itself. When you select text and want to edit text, the floating toolbar will appear with ways to change the properties of the text.
Use the bold, italics, and underline properties for any text that you want to stand out from the rest.
For bold, select B in the floating toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut
Cmd + b
Ctrl + b
For italics, select I in the floating toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut.
Cmd + i
Ctrl + i
For underlining, select U in the floating toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut.
Cmd + u
Ctrl + u
Use lists for to-dos, note-taking, writing out tasks, ideating, or step-by-step instructions. Lists keep your text looking tidy and organized.
To create a bulleted list, select the bullet list icon in the floating toolbar.
You can also create a bulleted list on a new line by entering "-" followed by Space.
To create a numbered list, select the numbered list icon in the floating toolbar.
You can also create a numbered list on a new line by entering "1" followed by Space.
There are seven preset text sizes.
By default, your text will be set to Normal text for all text elements. You can change the size of a part or all of the text.
To use a preset size:
Select the line or portion of text you want to resize.
Select the size menu in the floating toolbar to change text size.
Pick a size for the selected text or enter a custom size in the field.
Text objects created using the text tool can be given a custom size.
To resize a text element:
Select the text element you want to resize.
Select and drag a side of the text element.
