Classify content

Classify content to help people recognize the sensitivity of information they’re viewing or working on.

You can classify content once your organization admin has set up classification levels for your organization.

To classify an item:

  1. Edit the item (only required for pages and blogposts).

  2. Select the More actions menu (•••) > Classify content.

  3. Choose a classification level.

  4. Select Update.

Why is my content already classified?

You may find that the item you’ve just created has been classified without any action by you or another user. This could be the result of a default classification level set by the space admin. What is a default classification level?

To change the classification level of an item:

  1. Edit the item (only required for pages and blog posts).

  2. Select the classification level badge.

  3. Select Change level (only required for whiteboards, databases and live pages).

  4. Choose a classification level.

  5. Select Update.

You can't remove a classification level, but you can change it to No classification or to the default level set by your admin.
