Display beautiful, dynamic content on your page with Cards
This feature is in beta and only offered with Confluence Cloud Premium and Enterprise.
Cards allow you to organize and display interactive content on your page. They’re ideal for for highlighting key information in a visually appealing way, or presenting a collection of related items.
Cards can transform Confluence, Jira, and Atlas links or external URLs into dynamic, clickable page elements. You can add as many cards as you’d like to a page, and customize them in a variety of ways.
To add cards to your page:
Select (+) from the toolbar, then find Cards. Or, type /cards from the body of your page.
Upon selection, a group of three cards will appear on your page.
During customization, you can create or delete as many cards as you’d like.
To customize and configure your cards:
1. Select the frame around the cards that you want to configure, then select the Edit () icon to open the configuration panel.
2. Customize your cards using the configuration options available. Cards can be generated from Confluence pages or Jira issues, for instance, or external URLs.
Be aware: Content displayed on your cards that comes directly from the links you’ve selected could be visible to anyone with access to your page, even if they don’t have access to the link itself.
3. Your selections will appear instantly.
Configuration
You can customize exactly how your cards appear on the page with the following options:
Feature-level options
Option | Default | Description |

Alignment | Center | Cards can be center or left aligned. |
Type | Text-based | We’re only offering text-based cards at this time. |
Show last update | Off | When this toggle is on, it displays the timestamp of the last update made to the page, ticket, or issue linked to the card. |
Show owner | On | When this toggle is on, it displays the owner of the page, ticket, or issue linked to the card. |
Card-level options

Title | We highly recommend adding a header title to your card. Character maximum: 255. |
Description | Add a caption or other text below the title of your card. Character maximum: 700. |
Image | You can add an image to your card by browsing and selecting from Unsplash, selecting the image we’ve sourced from any link added, or uploading an image directly. We recommend images that are 700 px or wider. |
