Insert the include page macro

You can use the include page macro to display the contents of one Confluence page or blog in another page or blog.

To add the include page macro:

When editing, select from the toolbar
Find the macro by name and select it
Configure it as needed

You can also type / on the page to bring up the same list you'd see by selecting from the toolbar. Continue typing the name of the macro to filter the list.

To edit the include page macro:

Select the macro placeholder.
Select the Edit icon to open the configuration panel.
Configure the parameters. Your changes are saved as you go.
Resume editing the page, and the panel closes.

You can also select the centered , medium-width , and full-width icons to adjust the width of some macros. Select the trashcan iconto remove the macro.

Parameters

Parameters are options that you can set to control what and how content from the macro appears on the page.

If the parameter name used in Confluence Cloud storage format is different than the label used when inserting macros using the browser or the slash command, it will be listed below in brackets (example).

The space key is case sensitive. To include a blog post, specify the date as well as the title of the blog post. For example: /2010/12/01/My blog post. You can include pages from personal spaces using ~username as the space key, where 'username' is the person's username. For example, ~jsmith:My page name.

If you want to include part of a page rather than the whole page, use the

excerpt and insert excerpt macros.

To display a page's contents, you need View permission for that page. Similarly, people who view the page will need View permissions for the embedded page as well as the page into which it is embedded. Contact your Confluence space administrator for more information about permissions.
