When you’re done with a plan, you can delete or archive it.
Archive a plan you’ve completed to remove it from your active plans. Once archived, your plan won’t show in the Plans dropdown menu and can’t be edited. They won’t be scheduled for deletion, and can be restored at any point.
To archive a plan, select the next to your plan name then choose Archive.
If you don’t want to keep a completed plan, you can move it to the trash. Like archived plans, plans in the trash plans won’t show in the Plans dropdown menu and can’t be edited. However, plans in the trash are automatically deleted after 60 days. Until that point, they can be restored.
To delete a plan, select the next to your plan name then choose Move to trash.
All of the processes described in this section require the Plans Administrator permission.
You can restore archived plans or plans that were deleted fewer than 60 days ago. Once restored, they can be edited and shared like a normal plan.
To restore a deleted or archived plan:
Navigate to the Jira admin panel using the icon in the upper right of your screen and select Products. Then:
to restore an archived plan, select Archive.
to restore a deleted plan, select Trash.
Select the next to the plan name you want to restore, then choose Restore.
