Set up Jira Cloud
Learn how to set up Jira Cloud and integrate it with other products and applications.
You can edit the story point estimate of an issue using only your keyboard via the command palette.
To add or edit a story point estimate with the command palette:
Make sure you’re viewing an issue either in the side bar or in full screen.
Open the command palette.
If you’re a Mac user, press command + K to open the command palette.
If you’re a windows user, press Ctrl + K to open the command palette.
Search for the command.
If you’re in a team-managed project, search for Add story point estimate, or Edit story point estimate if your issue already has a story point estimate.
If you’re in a company-managed project, search for Add Story Points or Edit Story Points if your issue already has a story point estimate.
Enter the story point estimate you’d like to add to the issue, then select enter on your keyboard. This will close the command palette and update the story point estimate.
To remove a story point estimate with the command palette:

Search for the command.
If you’re in a team-managed project, search for Edit story point estimate.
If you’re in a company-managed project, search for Edit Story Points.
Remove the story point estimate.
If you’re in a team-managed project, select Remove story point estimate.
If you’re in a company-managed project, select Remove Story Points.
