Dashboards: Dashboards are the reports you can find under the spaces which include multiple tables or graphs (charts) on one page, so that you can see all the related analysis regarding a specific function in a single place.
Filters: Conditions at the top of each dashboard which you alter and combine to specify what data you are looking for. These filters are different depending on the dashboard you are currently accessing but allow for a highly customized report.
Charts: Charts are the individual tables and graphs that you can find in a dashboard.
Spaces: Spaces contain a set of dashboards that make sense together.
Navigate to Analytics from the top navigation menu.
Go to the top of the sidebar menu on the left. Click the dropdown menu, select Global or Team Reports.
Once you select a dashboard, navigate to the filter section that is at the top of the dashboard. Click on each of the filters to expand it.
Select the filter values that you want to apply to the dashboard and click the Update charts button that is in the top right corner.
Once the page loads, the filtered view of the dashboard will be visible.
We have a message filter in the Alert Analytics global and team dashboard. This takes text as input and works as a multi-search text box. Text input controls require an exact string match. However, you can set up searching by partial string matches, which lets you use wildcards, for both single-value and multi-value ‘text input’ controls.
Setting up partial string matches for single-value ‘text input’ controls is similar to the usual setup process. You may enter only one value here (which could be a single character, or word, or sentence).
When you or other dashboard viewers use the text input on the dashboard, you can use wildcards in the search terms of your text input.
For example, if you wanted to filter your chart for names that start with “B”, you’d use the following search term in your text input: B%
You may enter multi-value text inputs (which could be several characters, or words, or sentences). Partial search is allowed here.
For example, if you want to filter your chart for names that contain the word “Exception”, start with “Exception”, end with “Exception”, and has the entire word “Exception”, you’d use the search term depicted %Exception%, Exception%, %Exception, Exception respectively in your text input.
When filtering by tags and/or teams, please use the ‘contains', ‘does not contain’, ‘include’, and 'exclude’ operators and enter the full tag or team name. These attributes are list attributes and the operators would search for the specific tag and/or team typed within the list.
For Tag
Tags Contains : Select all the tags user wants to include
Tags does not contain: Select all the tags user wants to exclude
For Teams:
Teams to include: Select all the Teams user wants to include
Teams to exclude: Select all the Teams user wants to exclude
Open the dashboard from the Reporting sidebar that you want to download.
On the top right section of your dashboard, click on the Download icon.
Select whether you want to Download as PDF or Download as CSV.
Click any one of these. A download dialogue box appears.
Type a file name for the downloaded report. Select the file location.
Click Save. Now you have a downloaded report of the dashboard you chose.
We have removed weekly report summary generation. You may use subscription functionality to create your weekly schedules.
Ability to add recipient to a schedule is only available if you are using Atlassian login. This won’t be possible with Opsgenie login.
Only users that are part of your instance can be added as recipients.
Send scheduled reports to keep the team updated on your dashboard's data.
Navigate to Analytics via the top menu.
Go to the top of the sidebar menu on the left. Click the dropdown menu, select Global or Team Reports.
Once you select a team, navigate to the right side of the report, click on the paper plane icon Send subscription.
Once you click this, a dialogue box appears. If you want to create a new subscription, click on Add subscription.
Enter details of your subscription on the modal. Click Add.
In specific charts where the value labels are available, you can hide or show the values by clicking on the labels. Once a value is hidden, the chart would adjust automatically with the remaining values.
