Edit a backup policy

You can edit a backup policy to change the way you store data or to include or exclude data, such as attachments or personal spaces. When you edit a backup policy, changes apply from the subsequent backups.

To edit a policy:

1. Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.

2. Select Settings > Data management.

3. Select Backup and restore.

4. In the Backup policy table, find the policy that you want to edit. Select View details.

5. Select Edit policy.

6. Make changes to your policy.

7. Select Update backup policy.
