Export backups to external cloud storages
The capability to back up data in external cloud storage is available to some customers as part of the closed beta.
You can back up data and restore from an Amazon S3 cloud storage. Read more about using external cloud storage to back up and restore data
When you run a backup, we store your backup in an Atlassian storage hosted on Amazon S3 for 14 days. You can export the backup to your Amazon S3 cloud storage within 14 days.
To back up data to an Amazon S3 storage:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Settings > Data management.
Select Backup and restore.
In the Backup policy table, find the product you want to export to your Amazon S3 storage.
Select View details. The policy's recent backups are listed.
To see the backup details, select the specific backup you want to export.
Select Export to storage.
