Keep up with Atlassian changes to products
We continuously release changes to Atlassian cloud products so that your organization can get product improvements and new features as soon as they’re available. Find out about Atlassian changes that might impact your organization and stay up to date on the newest features on our Product updates page.
From Product updates, you can scroll or search through a list of release notes to read more about the details of a specific change and when it’s coming to each of your products. You can also watch a release note to get updates about certain changes you might want to stay up to date with. Release notes are sorted based on the time of the last update to the status.
If you want to delay when your products get some changes, or test changes before your production environments get them, we recommend configuring release tracks. Learn about release tracks
Products currently supported by Product updates
Release notes for the following products will appear for admins in Product updates:
Atlassian Administration
Bitbucket Cloud
Compass
Confluence Cloud
Jira Service Management Cloud
Jira Cloud
Opsgenie
Currently, Trello and Statuspage release notes aren’t included in product updates. Learn about Trello changes
Find a release note
To find and view a release note:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Products > Product updates.
Select the release note card from the list or search for a specific release note, or filter the list.
Find out when your product will get a change
Within Product updates, you can view real-time release timeframes showing when a feature will become available to your products.
To view when your organization’s product will get a change:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Products > Product updates.
Select the release note from the product updates list.
View the Release timeframe on the right of the screen.
For organizations with multiple sites, if any of your products are on the bundled or preview release track, select View release schedule.

PLANNED | Atlassian is working on a change. There’s no rollout date scheduled. |
COMING SOON | Atlassian is rolling out a change, but your products haven’t received it yet. |
ROLLING OUT (for multiple product instances only) | A change is being rolled out by Atlassian, and only some of your products have received it. |
ROLLOUT COMPLETE | All your products have received the change. |
Get notified about updates to a release note
You can choose to receive an email if the status or release timeframe change.
To watch a release note:
Go to admin.atlassian.com. Select your organization if you have more than one.
Select Products > Product updates.
Select the release note card from the product updates list.
Turn on the watch this release note toggle. If you want to stop getting notified about a release note, turn off the watch this release note toggle.
