Privacy and data protection when you back up and restore Atlassian data

When you back up data, we store your data temporarily in our internal storage hosted on Amazon S3. We take privacy seriously and only store data for 14 days in our internal storage. After 14 days, the backup expires. You need export or download the backup from the internal storage within 14 days. You can also restore a backup from the internal storage.
